frequentley asked questions

Q: Will I be unconscious or asleep?
A: No, hypnosis is a natural state of altered consciousness. Most people find the experience extremely relaxing.

Q: Will I loose control?
A: No, even in the deepest trance, clients remain fully in control of their behaviour and cannot be made to do anything against their will.

Q: What if I don’t wake up?
A: This simply cannot happen. Even if the therapist were to leave, the client would simply emerge from the trance in their own time quite naturally.

Q: Will I reveal my inner most secrets?
A: The client has control over what information they wish to share with the therapist even when in trance and cannot be compelled to divulge any secrets they do not wish to.

Q: Can I be hypnotised against my will?
A: No, in order to go into trance the client must be prepared to co-operate with the therapist. If the client wants to resist they can.

Q: How many sessions will I require?
A: It is difficult to anticipate in advance, as each client is an individual. Some treatments only require one session.
